As I've been sharing some amazing stories of women during my "March of Inspiring Mums" interview series, it's got me thinking a lot about why I set up Halia Rose. I've also been reflecting on my very own journey into motherhood and how I felt on the eve of becoming a mum for the first time...
Our latest interviewee is with Amy Williams MBE, ex-Olympic athlete and mum to 2 year old Oscar with baby number two due in June.
Amy describes herself as a full time mummy and self employed...similar to so many of us juggling work with little ones!
Amy uses her passion of helping others achieve their goals, to motivate and help people strive to achieve. So, alongside looking after Oscar full time, she does motivational talks to businesses, corporate functions, schools and events.
She also does various TV work including commentating for the BBC during Winter Olympics and will shortly be setting up her own Personal Training business having recently qualified in this field.
Today she shares with us how from an original plan to study art, she fell into Skeleton and went on to compete at the highest level. Amy also gives some great tips for juggling life as a mum and how to avoid being in an "anxious pickle"!
